SistersCafe

Our Story

Good food.
Good mood.

It’s painted on the wall, and it’s the whole idea. Connecting with the community through good food — open every day, 8 to 3.

The Sisters

Nancy & Maddie

The cafe is named for the sisters who run it, and you’ll usually find them here.

Nancy prepares the soups from scratch every day, using fresh ingredients and a whole lot of love. It’s the kind of detail that’s easy to skip and impossible to fake — and it’s why regulars ask what the soup is before they even sit down.

Maddie and Nancy also sit down on camera now and then for Sit Down with the Sisters, answering whatever the community asks them next. If you’ve got a question for them, ask — they’ll probably answer it in an episode.

A Local Tradition

Take a picture with the wall

Come in with your sister — or your sisters — and grab a photo by the big black lettering. Tag us and you’ll probably end up on our page.

The Coloring Contest

Our contest in the Clarkston News brought in a stack of incredible artwork. Congratulations to Ellie B., Abby B. and Cason S.

Cup of Wisdom

We sit down with neighbors over coffee and ask the big questions. The best advice you’ve ever received? We want to hear it.

We were honored to host our friend Whitney Wagner and her team for her feature film, If We Forget This, I Hope We Forget This Together.

Meet the Team

David B. — Line Cook

Thirty-two years of experience on the line, and he brings all of it to this kitchen.

When David isn’t cooking, he’s keeping up with sports and cheering on the Sharks. We’re glad he’s on the team — and if your omelette comes out right, there’s a good chance he folded it.

How We Cook

The long way, every day

  1. Soup from scratch

Made fresh every day with real ingredients. Never from a base, never from a bag.

  2. Fresh bread

Sandwiches are only as good as what holds them together, so we don’t cut that corner.

  3. Cooked to order

Omelettes folded, eggs done your way, pancakes hitting the griddle when you order them.

  4. Open every day

Seven days a week, 8am to 3pm. Breakfast doesn’t stop at eleven around here.
